I have been a creative soul since day one! Crayons and paper were my best friend. I was the kid in class who should have been listening to the teacher but was too busy scribbling away in my notebook and thinking of my next great masterpiece.
Most of my early work career was spent in Virginia. However, I left VA in 2006 to pursue a completely different career than I had ever had. I walked into a photo studio where I had worked as a client and suddenly overnight, I was their employee. Before I knew it, 5 years had passed and my first day felt just like yesterday!Some of my clients included La-Z-Boy, Macys, Lane, Tarkett, Sherwin Williams and Sommers et Flooring, just to name a few. My time with Viewpoint was abruptly brought to an end when the studio closed it's doors on January 31, 2012.
Before starting my job at Viewpoint Studios, I worked at Rowe Furniture in Elliston, VA as a Production Artist/Photography Coordinator. This was my first furniture industry job. I had no idea what I was in for....MARKET? What's that? I met a wonderful group of people there that allowed me the opportunity to grow and meet new personal and professional goals. Without them and their guidance, I wouldn't be where I am today! I have returned to my previous employer, Rowe Furniture. Currently working in their High Point, NC corporate headquarters, I am the Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director of Photography.
